PRESIDENT KEELE SUCCEEDS IN ABOLISHING SENATE; RIOTS BREAK OUT

Backed by Congress, President Keele has successfully ended the power inherent in the Senators. A number of key Senators have agreed with Keele’s opinion that three sources of legislative power confuses a political message, while many more have shown anger that America’s major principles have been undermined.

Riots have subsequently broken out in Washington DC, Manhattan and Los Angeles. Four police officers have died heroically trying to control the violence; numbers of rioter casualties are unpublished. Tear gas was deployed in DC and Manhattan, while Los Angeles deployed military assistance. Deterrent Tapeworm Jones was arrested in Manhattan; witnesses claim he was attempting to protect a group of protesters from being trampelled, though the official police report claims he attacked a police officer, unprovoked.

HUMANITY LEAGUE RIOTS CONTINUE; THE ALPHA APPEARS AT LONDON

Prime Minister Munne continues to broker the British Isles’ departure from Europe. The Collective continue to appear at major protests-turned-riots in London, Brighton, and York. The protests against the Humanity League are always met with Alt Right and Anti-Parahuman groups seemingly looking for violence, and fighting cannot be prevented by the police. Twenty one more “violent rioters” die in the clashes.

After two hours of standoff in London, The Alpha appears above Whitehall. Using gravity powers, The Alpha rips the Police and Anti-Protestors weapons from their hands, commanding the pro-authority sides to retire. In a hijacked television broadcast, a noticeably voice-enhanced Alpha addressed Humanity First and Munne that they have a single chance to lead this country without anti-Parahuman incident, or violence will ensue.

“I believe I have a convincing portfolio on wholesale disaster, and likewise following through with my threats, lady Prime Minister. I ask that you strongly consider the both the rock and the hard place you find yourself between.”

The Alpha’s status as ETHER’s most wanted Terrorist is reinstated.

NEW YORKER FOUND DEAD IN MACEDONIA; PRESIDENT KEELE OFFERS PROTECTION TO DER OHLE

Following continued rousting of the terrorist group **** in Europe, ETHER agents locate a corpse in Macedonia, seemingly ritually murdered while chained to statue. Flags and banners associated with World War II warlord The Guide were found displayed in a purposeful shape, with close resemblance to white-power symbols and insignia. ETHER Agents reported that the body had been sadistically flayed and drained of blood; wounds and blood match a knife taken from Der Ohle during their arrest, and the criminal even admitted to the murder..

Within days the corpse was identified as Deterrent The New Yorker, previously known as The UnAmerican, ‘Hattan Man, The New Amsterdamned & Captain Republican. Despite having previously been a divisive Superhero in their decrying of Liberal politics and Democratic candidates, the last decade had seen The New Yorker rise to prominence as a protector of the United States’ lower classes, and a vocal proponent of benefit systems for underprivileged. Outrage at The New Yorker’s murder spread across the mass media and internet quickly. The Lady, interviewed in Washington DC stated; “We did not always see eye-to-eye, but The New Yorker stood up for those who needed him. And he loathed those who preyed on the weak. We will see that the criminal is brought to justice, so help me.”

Following requests from both ETHER and The Deterrents to hand over Der Ohle for European Trial, UMBRA has refused to hand over the criminal. In response, President Keele gave the prisoner diplomatic immunity by accepting them as an “ambassadorial aide”. Within days, he controversially named Der Ohle as Director of UMBRA.

“It is undeniable that the individual in question has the right background, skills and knowledge to run an organization like UMBRA. They have experience with armed crime, super-powered individuals, and critical, lateral thinking needed for someone who will run an international security concern. The fact that they may, or may not, have been involved in crimes in Europe is a concern for ETHER to investigate, not for us to dwell on.”

Any complaints about this appointment disappeared off social media immediately. When questioned about the appointment of a known fascist terrorist murderer being appointed head of a global security concern, neither ETHER or The Deterrents gave comment.

THE LADY MURDERS DER OHLE, ARRESTED BY UMBRA, FACES DEATH SENTENCE

Reports indicate that within sixteen hours of Der Ohle’s appointment, a security breach was reported inside Sky Fish Diogenes at roughly 03:00, Pacific time zone. An unidentified intruder armed with a spear fought their way through the airborne warship, attempting to reach the bridge. Despite efforts to stop them, the figure was able to break in, and with minimal problems, impale Der Ohle, before beheading them. Rumours that previous (and now current acting) UMBRA head Lancaster Wilder did nothing to stop the assailant persist.

With no resistance, the intruder allowed themself to be arrested, unmasked as Deterrent The Lady. President Keele publicly condemned the attack as cowardly and “based on unfounded hatred”; he later apologized following a complaint from the German Government who had been hunting Der Ohle for decades, instead changing his argument to “there were deplorable actions on both sides”.

In court, The Lady accepted the verdict of Murder as guilty. She was quoted as saying “I removed a force of evil. I avenged a good man. I regret nothing.”

As a non-human entity empowered by humanity’s love of art, no known current form of execution will suffice in killing the Lady; instead, she is to be placed in a specially designed sensory and wavelength nullifying deprivation cell. This will cut her off from her source of power, eventually starving her to death. Until then, she is to be kept prisoner aboard Diogenes.
The Lady’s Spear, and Der Ohle’s mask have been taken into custody by ETHER.

DETERRENTS ESCAPE; NAMED TERRORISTS

Eight days after the incident on the Diogenes, another occurs; with no warning, The Lady escapes her cell, aided by fellow prisoner, Tapeworm Jones. The two non-lethally fight their way once again to the command, before throwing themselves out of the bridge window, falling into the pacific ocean.

President Keele names the two fugitives, and accuses the Deterrents of harboring criminals. A broadcast from the GREGOR-ONE satellite headed by The Dandy & Xiang Ah Kum, pours more light on the situation;

“...Our allies are safe, and with us. They are as much criminals as your children; what has befallen this country is a farce, hiding as a benevolent power. We will have no more of this. If Keele is America, America is our enemy. You will be deterred...”

GREGOR-ONE has severed all communications with NASA, and is now undetectable. The Deterrents are, by the United States Government, Russia, China and Korea, considered a Global Threat.

“They are willful criminals with access to technology and surveillance far beyond those of almost every country on this planet. The Deterrents are a threat to every government on Earth. They have sacrificed their rights as free citizens. Their satellite will be blown from the sky.”
