The Lost Class
After the success of the Academy's first class, the Professor began researching medical papers and searching out a new class of Parahuman Students. Hopeful and enthusiastic, no-one could foresee the tragedies that would occur.
Unknown, the Class is alive, but kidnapped by the enormous, living coral city, looking to retrieve what had been stolen from it. Working together, the team escape...but in the process, two of the students are dragged underwater with the Nameless City, never to be seen again...
Across the following weeks and months, the Lost Class travel strange lands without explanation or understanding. During this time, they are believed dead, and the Professor sinks into depression; they meet several times with The Alpha, discussing their past, intentions and future. It takes weeks before the Alpha tells them that the Lost Class is lost, not dead. A spark of hope ignites within the Professor…
The Professor hires new staff, amongst them Mr. Alman, a gifted teacher and Councillor, and First Class Alumnus --. Unknown to him, both are agents of the Milliner's Guild, Moon and Temperance, though the latter is torn on their loyalties…
Across the months, the Class engages in regular school study, developing their powers, humane experiments, and responding to Parahuman occurrences. They regularly conflict with the Collective, the Alpha, Robyn Goodfellowe's Lost Boys, and various brutes & savages sent by The Guild.
Days later, on insistence by the Professor, the Cairn is destroyed, its stones scattered and the ground salted.
Parahumans now forever associated with “an innocent woman's death”, the school decides to be more careful…
One of the Collective, leader Glammer's foster child Edward aka Catalyst, joins the Academy, disillusioned with their mother's violent ways.
The Class decide to end this as quickly as possible, destroying the ACTAEONs’ Mother unit and factory in Yorkshire; sadly,it is only one of two facilities, and Government sanctioned Parahuman arrests continue.
The fight between The Guild and the Lost Class results in the deaths & mutilations of many Guards and Chosen, and the unleashing of the powers of La Bete Noir; something the Guild claim they were trying to prevent. Much of the Guild mansion is destroyed, and The Guild are exposed as the masterminds behind the Academy's troubles.
Their classmates do everything they can to reach their friend… before the whole Class vanishes in burning light. The madness draws to a sudden end.
They return two days later, exhausted, emotional and broken, Psion no longer amongst them.
